Conceptual Instructions

Open the Microsoft Word application and close the Backstage interface if necessary. To do this, press the Escape key

Cookbook Instructions

Microsoft Word creates a blank document.
Type your document.
Press the F12 key to activate the Save dialog box.
Press the Shift+Tab keystroke until you locate the Tree View.
Use the Up and Down arrow keys to move up and down through the tree view.
Press the Right Arrow key to open a folder.
Press the Left Arrow key to close a folder.
When you find the correct folder, Press the Enter key.
Activate the Save button with the Alt+S keystroke or press the tab key until you find the Save button and press the Enter key.

Trainer Notes

When working in Microsoft word, listen to your screen reader. It will tell you which keystrokes to use. Learn them over time to become more productive.
