The ATI Certified Trainers Forum is a professional space for trainers certified through ATI to participate in continuing education, discussion, and shared learning. Forum access is provided as part of ATI’s continuing education services and is governed by the rules below.
Purpose of the forum
The forum exists to support ongoing professional development for ATI Certified Trainers. It is a place to discuss pedagogy, training strategies, instructional design, classroom challenges, and professional practice related to access technology instruction.
The forum is not a marketing platform, a student support desk, or a general social network.
Eligibility and access
Access to the ATI Certified Trainers Forum is provided to trainers who hold ATI Certified Trainer status.
Forum access continues as long as:
- ATI continues to offer continuing education services
- The trainer remains in good standing within ATI spaces
Forum access may end if:
- ATI discontinues the forum or continuing education services
- ATI closes operations
- Access is restricted due to serious or repeated policy violations within the forum
Loss of forum access does not automatically revoke ATI Certified Trainer status unless forum conduct independently warrants action under ATI’s certification rules.
Professional conduct within the forum
Forum participation is governed by professional standards. Trainers are expected to:
- Engage in respectful, professional discussion
- Critique ideas, methods, and approaches without personal attacks
- Disagree thoughtfully and substantively
- Avoid harassment, intimidation, or hostile behavior
Ideas are fair game. People are not.
Moderation philosophy
The forum values open discussion and intellectual disagreement. Moderation is light by design. Moderation will generally be limited to:
- Redirecting posts to appropriate forums
- Clarifying scope or expectations
- Intervening only when conduct becomes personal, threatening, or disruptive
ATI does not moderate for opinion, pedagogy, or ideology.
Use of forum content
Forum discussions are intended for professional exchange, not public redistribution. You agree to:
- Respect the privacy of other members
- Avoid reposting forum content outside ATI spaces without permission
- Avoid sharing identifiable student or client information
Case discussions must be de-identified unless explicit permission has been granted.
Advertising and solicitation
The forum is not an advertising platform.
Limited self-referential discussion may occur in designated areas, but:
- Unsolicited promotion
- Recruitment spam
- Repeated sales-driven posts
may be removed.
ATI does not endorse services, products, or opportunities discussed in the forum.
Intellectual property and attribution
Members are expected to respect authorship and licensing. You agree to:
- Credit original creators when sharing ideas or materials
- Avoid uploading copyrighted or licensed content you do not have rights to share
- Follow ATI textbook licensing rules
Forum tools and data
Forum tools, forms, and shared resources are provided for professional use within ATI.
Data and tools may change as the platform evolves. ATI makes no guarantee of permanent availability of any specific feature.
Governance and changes
Forum rules may be updated as the community evolves. Changes will be communicated clearly.
Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated governance rules.
